Volunteers Needed to help with this year’s Flu Vaccination Programme
The Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership was established to bring together adult health and social care services. The new Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership and its Integration Joint Board (IJB) will deliver integrated health and social care services for adults in Dundee.
The Adult Flu Vaccination Programme is to begin in Dundee on 26th September and DHSCP would like the help of volunteers aged 18 or over to ensure the smooth delivery of the programme. This opportunity can be used to count towards the Saltire Awards for volunteers under 26.
The role will involve meeting and greeting patients, identifying anyone needing additional assistance, explaining how to get ready for the vaccination and ensuring safe flow of traffic in the car park. It will take place in a range of venues across Dundee including General Practices and where possible, volunteers will be placed in their local area.
