Nominated as a finalist in the Volunteer Team of the Year Award category is also Team Pavilion from Mill O’ Mains.

Team Pavilion have been finalised based on their commitment to running activities for local youth and adults. Despite a fire and personal commitments; the group have continued to serve lunches, ensure there are plenty of activities for children taking place all year and kept the pensioners craft group running. The incident also did not stop the team going that extra mile around winter time when they made sure that all children had warm clothing, the pensioners received a Christmas meal and they fundraised to ensure families received Christmas presents.

The team have their own personal struggles and commitments, yet they have still supported many young people and worked to replace what was lost to the groups to the fire.

We would like to wish the best of luck to Team Pavilion in the Volunteer Team of the Year category!
