Dundee Community Transport Drivers
Transport is something most of us take for granted but for many people and groups the Community Transport minibus is the only way of getting out and about. Volunteer Driving is rewarding and enjoyable. You will get the satisfaction of knowing you are improving other people's quality of life as well as gaining a MIDAS certificate.After completing your driving assessment and one full day's training to complete your MIDAS certificate, you could be asked to drive for any one of our 65 member groups, from junior football teams to sheltered housing groups, from environmental projects to arts and crafts groups. The office, where training and support for volunteers happens, is in Mid-Craigie Parish Church building. . Volunteers are particulary needed for the summer holiday bookings. Midlin Day Care Driver and Escorts
Collect clients from their homes and transport them to the centre ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times and assisting clients into the centre. Transportation to and from the Centre is between 9.45am and 11.15am. Drivers would also take clients home in the afternoon between 3.30pm and 4.30pm ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
