Team Volunteering
Whether you are a team of employees, friends or a family, volunteering is a great way of doing something different, hanging out together, and developing team skills.
Volunteer Centre Dundee has promoted team opportunities for voluntary organisations and helped to match them up to a group or organisation looking to volunteer.
"Team challenges? We got to take part in a fantastic team building exercise and have a lots of fun, whilst the charity got a really worthwhile piece of work completed at absolutely no cost to themselves - we were delighted and so were the charity."
Team Opportunities for Employees
People who work well together as a team are one of the most valuable assets any employer can have. There are many team building tools available but few are as satisfying, inexpensive and widely beneficial as a community challenge.
Rather than spending large amounts of money on a conventional team building day, connecting with a local community based organisation can provide both employers and teams with many benefits:
- Low cost
- An outstanding sense of achievement for all who take part
- A real team building experience impossible to replicate in the classroom
- An excellent PR opportunity
More and more companies, big and small, are now seeing the benefits of team volunteering challenges in their local community.
There is no charge for choosing one of our advertised team volunteering events. However if you would like the Volunteer Centre to act as a broker between your company and the host organisation a small charge will be levied.
