Big Noise is a social transformation programme that uses music. Currently working with the primary schools in the Douglas community, we teach the children to play in an orchestra. This fosters ambition, resilience, teamwork, concentration and perseverance, and raises aspirations. Building strong relationships with the children is key to the success of the programme.

Big Noise Summer Holiday School will be running in the mornings, Monday – Thursday from 2nd July to 2nd August at Claypotts Castle Primary School. Open to all Douglas children in Primary 2 and 3.

We are looking for volunteers to help with all activities, including supporting children in music sessions, outdoor games, craft activities and mealtimes. You will have an opportunity to join in some of the sessions, and to be part of an energetic and committed team of staff and existing volunteers.

We need people from 9.00 – 1.00, just one or two mornings a week during the school holidays. If you think this could be you, please get in touch!
