Catesbi’s aim is to improve lives of children with autism using Applied Behaviour Analysis. We do this by offering training to: Families of Children in need of behavioural intervention to increase the child’s life skills, communication skills and independence, and, – Professionals working with children with developmental delays to upskill them and being able to teach using evidence based strategies.

Catesbi looking for a volunteer Events Organiser. In this role, you will assist with the logistics of events, mostly trainings and conferences. booking venue, distribution of contracts and policies with speakers, manage travel for speakers, write and send email communications to participants, managing lists of invitation and attendees, Promote events on Eventbrite and other platforms, Communicate events with Social media manager and venue hosts.Volunteer’s work will start a ripple which will ultimately help families of children with autism to access an early behaviour intervention.

Ideal volunteer has a gift for organising, planning, communication with other staff, volunteers, speakers and attendees. We are looking for a person who would like to develop their skills, experience and help starting social enterprise. Volunteer will be involved in overseeing smooth preparation of events.

The successful candidate will benefit from broadening their contacts, experience in this area and increase their knowledge in the area of behaviour science (if they are interested). This volunteer placement requires a person with confident in communication with other team members & clients; Ability to use clear, expressive language to appeal to audience; Good behavioural management and own initiative.

This opportunity can be done from Home and any reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed. Time commitment 4hrs fortnightly for 6 months with the potential for extension.
