Volunteer in the Cairngorms National Park in 2018
Make 2018 the year you volunteer in the National Park!
Did you know volunteering outdoors can improve your health, help you meet new people, feel better, help you learn new skills, but most of all it’s great fun!
• Would you like to volunteer in the amazing natural environment of the Cairngorms National Park, but are unsure where to look?
• Would you like to be the first to find out more about a new volunteer group, who will be joining the Ranger Services each month to take care of the paths and wildlife between Killiecrankie and Blair Atholl?
• Would you like to meet groups and organisations looking for volunteers?
• Would you like to get ‘hands on’ and have fun trying out environmental volunteering yourself?
Then please join us in Killiecrankie on 20th January!
Volunteer Cairngorms, in partnership with the Atholl Estate Ranger Service, National Trust for Scotland Killiecrankie Ranger Service, and the Perth and Kinross Ranger Service, are hosting an event where you can meet groups and organisations looking to involve volunteers in the natural environment of the Cairngorms National Park, be the first to find out about a new volunteering group who will be joining the Ranger Services each month to take care of the paths between Killiecrankie and Blair Atholl, and get hands-on with nature, trying your hand at environmental volunteering!
Don’t worry if you can’t join us for the whole day – we’ll be based in the Hall until lunch, then getting hands-on in the afternoon, so you can join us for as little or as much of the day as you would like.
Please take a look at the attached flyer for more information.
We hope you can join us! To help us plan for catering and for the volunteering activities, please let us know you are coming by visiting www.cairngorms.co.uk/volunteers, emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01479 870 566.
