Youth Volunteering Worker: Care Homes Project
35 hours per week, fixed-term for two years
£19,857 per annum
Volunteer Dundee wants to engage and inspire young people to get involved in volunteering and make a difference to communities in Dundee and their own lives. We are looking for a youth volunteering worker who is passionate about volunteering and its benefits to all and who can promote and inspire young people to get involved in volunteering and develop our youth volunteering work within care homes.
You will have a good knowledge of volunteering and the voluntary sector and experience of working with young people in community settings especially in health and social care roles. You will support the Youth Ambassadors’ steering group for the project to undertake consultations with stakeholders within care home settings to plan and design events. A knowledge of care homes would be beneficial but not essential.
