Lend-a-Hand project is our good neighbour scheme based in Charleston.

What do we do?
We can provide volunteers to undertake requests from the community for help with:

• DIY
• Hanging curtains
• Changing light bulbs
• Building flat pack furniture
• Putting up shelves
• Gardening
• Pick up shopping
• Chatting with someone over coffee

Would you like to volunteer?

Are you available for a couple of hours a week. No experience is needed as training and support is offered. Use your existing skills or develop new ones. Volunteers go out and complete requests for jobs as a team or individually. Make new friends and build your confidence at the same time as helping someone. Out of pocket expenses paid for including childcare and it will not affect any benefits you may be receiving.
